Seminars at sea have been around for years, but until recently there have been no seminars for software engineers. Neil Bauman of GeekCruises saw this need and fills it with numerous conferences for software engineers. This particular cruise was devoted to the Java programming language and took place on the Holland America Ryndam on their Western Caribbean itinerary.
