Shows and other Entertainment

The first night's show was mostly an introduction to the performers. We did not attend but did not hear any complements from our fellow geeks.

The next show was Barry Manilow's Copacabana. It was somewhat amateurish, but the audience seemed to enjoy themselves. The girls must have gone through more than a dozen costume changes during the course of the show.

The first day at sea had a show with Duncan Tuck. Duncan is an accomplished musician as well as a comedian. I had heard a few of his jokes but most were new to me and most had the audience rolling in the floor. He did a few songs we never expected, including If I Were A Rich Man from Fiddler On The Roof. He ended the show with a flamenco guitar piece that really showed his skill.

The night we left Grand Cayman had a highly-rated magician. I skipped this show in favor of a lip-synch rock and roll show put on by the guests. While it was a bit hokey, everyone concerned had a great time, including the audience.

We skipped the following night's entertainment as we were busy drinking margaritas at Carlos'N Charlie's, the premier nightclub in Cozumel.

We skipped the next night as well, because the software geeks had a separate party in the Crow's Nest, followed by rousing karaoke session.

Finally, we missed the last night's show because we were busy packing.
